A-Yes, the two did deserve the punishment. For what they have done. Mostly because for murdering their victims. The men and or women who they have killed was unacceptable. Clearly, if they want a rebellion, they should have done it in a less violent way. Killing those innocent men was worthless.

B-Leob wanted to create the perfect crime by having his plan go the way he wants it to be. Leob didn`t want the body to be found by the police. Neither him to be found as well. He hoped that he would get the money and run off, unnoticed.

C-I think that he was just simply twisting the words. In the passage, Darrow did not seem to agree to help the two. I did not see the connection between him and Leob, and Leopold. He seemed to somehow agree with them.

D-The public verdict seemed to be really surprised about this. Even to me, this seemed very surprising. How they were charged "not guilty" It did not seem to make sense to me. The public seemed to be quite angry about this. They must have wondered, how did the killers were set free?

E-No. They did not seem to have heart for the innocent lives they have killed. It seemed like that they just killed for fun The victims death seem to not affect their feelings at all. They seemed heartless about the world, only caring about each other.

PS... This story was almost confusing. Some seem to not make sense. So I answered these questions the best possible way I can.

A- yes because of their murders and their crimes they commited. it was not right to murder an inasent person for no reason. also leob was obssesed over crimes he needed to be put away. they are cycopaths also.

B- the perfect crime is one where you can plot to kill someone, kill them and get any with it. the perfect crime is hard to do because of police and witnesses. he wanted to commit this becasue he wanted to prove it can be done.

b.I guess the perfect crime is when you don't get caught and get away with.
e. I think that from all those years of reading about crime. It says in the article that he was obsessed with crime. Also the fact that he was smart, he was the youngest to graduate from that law college. So, I think that all those years built up from being obsessed with crime and he wanted to try to be like them but have the perfect crime.

b) The perfect crime is a crime that entails planning to make every detail work out. The perfect crime means you execute it and it goes perfectly. You then have to hide the evidence so that you don't get caught.
a) They completely deserved capital punishment. Darrow's argument was that they are too young to be hung, yet they took the life of a 14 year old boy to prove it could be done. They only reason they did was to fulfill Loeb's fantasy of doing it.

A- I think that the punishment that they recieved was suitable. For the crimes that they committed they need good punishment. For any extreme crime there should be a good punishment so that the person learns their lesson. The punishment they got was good for what they did.
B- The "Perfect Crime" is the crime that every suspect wants to be able to do. The perfect crime is when you have a well thought out plan. Not only that but that you can get away with out getting cought or leaving evidence to lead back to you. The perfect crime is probably hard to do but it would be a great challenge for someone interested in that stuff.

a.) i think that the puniahment they received is fair. I feel like this because the deserved like a good punishment. That they can learn from.
B.) the perfect crime is the one thats going on right now that no body will ever know anything about. Not that its a good thing. But theres no such thing as a perfect crime if you get caught.

D) the public most likely was extremely upset by this ruling. Most cases involving a child being murdered are very emotional to the public. A news paper reporter even said "the court room is the only thing between the boys and a blood thirsty mob". So I feel the public must have been very upset.
A)I do believe the boys should have received capital punishment. I don't believe their mental status fit to those who are able to escape punishment by means of insanity. To me they just seemed childish and immature, not at all insane. If it wasn't for Darrow in my opinion, they would have received execution.

A: In my own opinion, they do deserve the capital punishment, but being against capital punishment, well anyway they deserver the worst, due to their murders and crimes.

B; The perfect crime is a very difficult thing to pull off. The perfect crime is when the criminal leaves behind no evidence and ties all loose ends. FUN FACT: no one is sure a perfect crime has been committed, this is because if it was perfect there would be no case. I guess the criminal would know it....

Sorry this is late!
A. Of course they deserved capitol punishment! They committed a murder to a guy that didn't do anything at all to them. And they tried to get money from the family by telling the parents that he's still alive and they just kidnapped him. An eye for an eye is a good saying for this case.
B. I think the "perfect crime" could be a couple different things but I'm just going to say one. I think that it would be all planned out from the beginning to the end. The plan would go perfectly through out the whole thing and end with them not getting caught by the cops. And they live happily ever after with whatever they were trying to get.

A.) Yes, they deserve capitol punishment. They raped and killed an innocent person. They also lied to the parents so they could get money. I think that anybody that kills another person to commit the perfect crime, should have capitol punishment.

B.) The Perfect crime is when the people committing it leave behind no trace of them being there. They plan it out perfectly and run it through there minds over and over again to make sure there isn't a single flaw. A perfect crime, nobody gets punnished, because nobody will ever no who committed it.
